we started the fire homa.

this is the offering plate that got poured into the homa fire at the end of the whole process, many mantras later.

there are nine fruits, nine types of seeds, nine types of flowers, and nine different oils in this offering.

nine is the number of the Mother Divine -- this is a specific offering to Her, to bring Her wisdom, Her abundance, Her prosperity, and Her power to all of our souls.
