I haven't written in a while, as events in my life and in the life of UCBK took a dramatic & exhausting turn at the end of November, with the mahasamadhi of Jonathan Rosen. (Jonathan was my mate for 12 of the 17 years I've known him, and we went through many many many divine experiences on the spiritual rollercoaster of India, together -- some of those miraculous stories can be found in the earlier archives of this blog.)

it was and wasn't a shock, was and wasn't painful, was and wasn't beautiful..... a royal bitter and sweet, together.  there is a lot to say about all of that -- so much happened and the experience, with his family, the Santa Cruz Sai community, the larger Sai community (worldwide), plus the multiple organizations in Santa Cruz fighting for sane solutions to the situation of homelessness for the people there.... -- the majesty and power of his passage, funeral, all of it.   it's been an incredible spiritual journey, for many of us, and my own interior soul growth is still digesting the on-going gifts and beauty of it all.

I will write more about the beauty of his life and times, and the spiritual victory of his mahasamadhi, and my own personal experience in and through it all... but not now.

for the moment, suffice it to say that Jonathan is with me all the time, on the subtle level, in ways I never expected for a moment -- a towering spiritual presence, helping me in my work constantly.

I bow to his lotus feet, in gratitude and wonder.
